Angular Websocket Factory

Websockets are a great way to communicate between client and server applications. Since I am an Angular nut, I had to wrap this in a factory. I also came up with a scheme to allow controllers to listen form websocket broadcasts since promises do not fit the bill for websockets.

 

A websocket response from the server might look something like:

 

 

I am using Mojolicious on the backend, in case anyone is interested.

    I really like your wordpress setup. Is this done by angular and wordpress? The javaScript it nice. Was this all apart of your theme? Or did you have add java script.

      I am just using a theme called WPF Authority and there is a plugin called Crayon Syntax Highlighter that handles my code highlighting. I have been meaning to get back to this blog and your posts have inspired me to do so. Expect more to come.
